The Thought.

I recently had this powerful random thought that told me I needed to build a website and start blogging my life. I have never been one to keep a written journal, but I have always enjoyed photography and I have logged plenty of my life via that medium. Instagram has been my only sharing platform of choice for the past eight plus years. However, now I have this unexplained need to sit here and type words onto a screen for all to see. Words are not enough for me though, so there will be plenty of photographs and even videos as I try out this new medium for self expression.

You may be wondering what the 生道逛 is at the top of the page. They are Japanese Kanji symbols meaning:

生-Life
道-Road
逛-Roam.

Why Kanji symbols? I have always been fascinated with Japan, I have wanted to go since I was 19 years old and 27 years later I am finally planning my trip (better late than never). I am currently enrolled with a Japanese tutor located in Osaka and I am hopping to go in January of 2027 for at least a month. The Kanji symbols just made sense to me for this website.

Feel free to check out the other two blogs on here for Road and Roam. I hope you will stick around for my future posts.
